Tallinn Applied College is the only municipal vocational school in Tallinn that started teaching in 2003.
The need for the school was born out of the joint interest of the Tallinn City Government (hereinafter Tallinn LV) and local entrepreneurs to train skilled workers for the growing labor market.
Since 2008, the principles of inclusive education have been implemented in the school, study groups for children with special educational needs (hereinafter SEN) have been created. For students with SEN, we offer professional knowledge that matches their abilities and provides a sense of success, supporting their individual development, and skills to cope with independent life.
As forms of study, the school offers stationary school-based, session-based and workplace-based learning. From 2023/2024 sister. within the meaning of the Act on Basic Schools and Gymnasiums, the school organizes non-stationary education in basic school and gymnasium education in the study area of general curricula.
The types of education at the school are level education and continuing education. Level education is divided into: vocational secondary education, vocational education based on basic education and vocational education without the requirement of basic education.
There are five curriculum groups in Tallinn Applied College; construction and civil engineering, electric power and energy, gardening, home service and crafts.
